Taihe Law Firm’s 2019 Spring Art Exhibition (Preview)

The 2019 Spring Art Exhibition of Jiangsu Taihe Law Firm is set to open. This time, we will invite two painters, Gao Qinglin and Jing Yuejin, and showcase dozens of their works.

　　 Gao Qinglin A native of Nanjing, Jiangsu, he serves as the vice president of the Suqing Painting Academy in Nanjing, an academician of the Chinese Ink Art Research Institute, and an academician of the Railway Troops Calligraphy and Painting Academy under the China Military Culture Research Association.

　　Gao Qinglin’s landscapes often feature waterfalls, streams, mountain ravines, secluded valleys, peculiar rocks, and dense forests, and in his work he seamlessly integrates techniques from Western painting. His compositions are richly textured and full-bodied, evoking an atmosphere of archaic simplicity, vastness, and profound remoteness.

　　In Gao Qinglin’s miniature garden scenes, the brushwork is exquisitely delicate: pavilions and winding corridors, eaves with upturned corners—amidst them, trees softly frame the view, lending the composition a profound charm and an enduring sense of poetic delight. The work both conveys the refined elegance of its subjects and evokes the tranquil serenity of everyday life; the sentiments of the painting and the vistas of the garden blend seamlessly into a harmonious whole, inviting viewers to pause in quiet contemplation and savor the pleasures of aesthetic appreciation.

　　 Jing Yuejin A native of Nanjing, Jiangsu, he is a member of the Nanjing Arts and Crafts Association and the Nanjing Artists Association. He also serves as the vice president of both the Nanjing Landscape Painting Research Institute and the Nanjing Flower-and-Bird Painting Research Institute, and holds the honorary title of dean at the Nanjing Suqing Painting Academy.

　　Jing Yuejin excels in freehand flower-and-bird and landscape painting. His landscapes are marked by bold, decisive brushwork and meticulous coloring. The ink and color flow in intricate interplay, the compositions are fresh yet robust, imbued with grand momentum and endless charm. The paintings are lively and engaging, drawing viewers into their world.
