“Brush and Ink Should Follow the Times”—The Zhengyatang 2025 Autumn Art Exhibition Grandly Opens at Taihe Law Firm.

On October 30, the “Brush and Ink Follow the Times: Zhengyatang 2025 Autumn Art Exhibition” opened at Taihe Law Firm. Attending the opening were Gao Yun, former Deputy Director-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture, First-Class Inspector, Founding Vice President of the Chinese Painting Society, and Founding President of the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Society; Zou Yunxiang, Vice President of the Jiangsu Enterprise Federation; Zhai You, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Painting Society and President of the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Society; Ma Qun, Chief Partner of Taihe Law Firm and Chairman of the Jiangsu “Belt and Road” International Legal Services Alliance; Zhang Guangcai, Member of the Art Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Society; Vice President Wang Ping; Ma Yue, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Association for Sino‑Foreign Social and Cultural Exchange; as well as board members Li Gang, Gu Minglu, Zhang Li, Lin Jiuqing, Xu Weidong, Yan Hua, Pan Xilin, Yu Tiancheng, and many other artists, industry professionals, and art enthusiasts. The event was hosted by Wang Ping. As a centerpiece of Taihe Law Firm’s 40th anniversary celebrations, the exhibition innovatively blended legal rationality with artistic sensibility, offering attendees a cultural feast that transcended disciplinary boundaries.

This exhibition takes “Promoting the Fine Traditions of Our Nation and Strengthening the Influence of Chinese Culture” as its central theme, bringing together masterpieces by 49 distinguished Chinese painters from the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Society, including Gao Yun, Han Xianhong, Zhai You, Fan Shifu, Zhang Guangcai, Dong Lei, Wang Ping, Sang Jianguo, Zhang Wei, and others. The works span landscapes, figures, and flowers-and-birds, with brush and ink that eloquently capture the essence of Eastern aesthetics, inviting viewers to experience the charm of China’s rich cultural heritage and to appreciate the profound sense of patriotism and humanistic warmth embedded within.

In his address, Xu Guojin, Director of Taihe Law Firm, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests, as well as to the organizers and co-organizers. He noted that this art exhibition constitutes an important cultural highlight within the firm’s series of celebrations marking its 40th anniversary, vividly embodying the brand’s core ethos—“Professionalism for Knowledge, Humanity for Long‑Term Vision”—while also serving as a dynamic demonstration of Taihe’s commitment to fostering a culture of diversity.

Zhai You, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Painting Society and President of the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Society, highly commended the value of the exhibition. He noted that the cross-disciplinary dialogue between legal professionals and artists offers a precious opportunity for the collision of ideas across fields, while also infusing artistic creation with fresh perspectives and inspiration.

Following this, a painting‑donation ceremony was held at the opening ceremony. Zhai You, on behalf of the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Society, presented a work to the Taihe Zhengyatang Gallery. Zhu Li, Director of the Taihe Executive Committee, accepted the painting and conferred a certificate of collection, attesting to the deep bond forged through this cross‑disciplinary collaboration.

Yan Hua, a representative of the exhibiting artists and a director of the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Society, shared her insights on artistic creation, noting that each work embodies the artist’s painstaking effort and heartfelt emotion, and reflects an unbounded pursuit of beauty. She expressed her hope that this exhibition would serve not only as a platform for showcasing artworks but also as a bridge for heartfelt dialogue and spiritual exchange.
