Forty Years of Splendor, a New Chapter for Two Seasons — Zheng Yatang 2025: Liu Weijia Exhibition (Opening Edition)

On the afternoon of April 18, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Taihe Law Firm, the “Zhengya Tang 2025: Works by Liu Weijia” exhibition opened at Taihe. By innovatively blending law and art, Taihe drew a large crowd of art enthusiasts and professionals to the event. On opening day, Taihe Gallery buzzed with an enthusiastic atmosphere, as guests from all sectors gathered to witness this grand occasion—a seamless fusion of law and art.

This art exhibition is jointly hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Sino‑Foreign Social and Cultural Exchange, the Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Federation, and the Jiangsu Provincial Entrepreneurs Association, in collaboration with Taihe Law Firm, and organized by Zhengyatang Art Museum. It is co‑sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Cultural Relics General Store, the Jiangsu Provincial Modern Logistics Association, Xinhua All‑Media Art Museum, Zhuzi Art Museum, Nanjing Shichao Art Museum, Suzhou Xu Beihong Art Museum, Twenty‑Four Hours Art Museum, Nanjing Yao Art Museum, Space Digital Art Space, and others.

       Julie, Director of the Taihe Executive Committee, welcomed and thanked the guests in attendance as well as the organizers and co-organizers for their support. On the occasion of Taihe’s 40th anniversary, the art exhibition celebrates the fusion of law and art, showcasing the allure of the Taihe Gallery. She noted that Taihe has successfully hosted more than ten exhibitions, each inviting renowned masters to present their works, thereby attracting widespread attention from both the art community and the public and exerting a positive influence on the development of local arts.

This exhibition showcases the works of artist Liu Weijia. Teacher Liu expressed his warm welcome to all attendees in Taihe, inviting them to join in celebrating this grand convergence of law and art. He noted that his creations are deeply inspired by everyday life, with each piece reflecting his unique artistic vision and profound insights. Through this exhibition, he hopes to kindle a renewed passion for both life and the arts.

Teacher Liu presented a painting to Zhengyatang, and Director Xu Guojin of Taihe accepted the work and awarded Teacher Liu a certificate of collection from Zhengyatang.

At the opening ceremony, the guests in attendance lavished high praise on Teacher Liu’s works, noting that his paintings not only showcase exceptional skill but also convey genuine emotion, deeply resonating with viewers. They remarked that the exhibition was a feast for the eyes, offering a profound sense of the significant roles law and art play in society, while also highlighting the close connection between art and everyday life.

The guests also expressed their hope that in the future there will be more such artistic events, giving them the opportunity to appreciate the works of a wider range of artists up close and jointly fostering the thriving development of art and culture.

Director Xu Guojin of Taihe emphasized that the integration of law and art is a hallmark of the firm. Law offers solutions through specialized terminology and logical reasoning, while art creates aesthetic appeal via visual elements and emotional expression. Both fields share a common ground in innovation: jurists and lawyers pursue creative, forward‑thinking solutions within the legal framework, whereas artists deliver a visual feast through artistic innovation. As a locally rooted law firm with a 40‑year legacy, Taihe’s artworks symbolize heartfelt wishes for all and embody the harmonious beauty of law, art, and humanistic values.

With the opening ceremony concluding successfully, the Zhengyatang 2025 Exhibition of Works by Liu Weijia officially kicked off! The Taihe Gallery was bustling with visitors, who streamed in one after another, eager to catch a glimpse of Teacher Liu’s creations. Guests lingered at the exhibition, carefully examining each painting and seeking to decipher the artist’s brushwork and color choices. The atmosphere was vibrant yet harmonious, as attendees were swept up in the allure of art, savoring a feast for both the eyes and the soul.

Artist Biography
Liu Weijia, a native of Pingdu, Shandong, graduated from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and Nanjing University of the Arts. A professional painter, he specializes in flower-and-bird painting, with particular skill in depicting horses, deer, and other animals, as well as plants and blossoms. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, and his works are widely collected by institutions, art museums, and private collectors in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Shandong, Hong Kong, and other locales.
