On the morning of June 29, the opening ceremony of “Zhengyatang 2022: Majestic Landscapes—An Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting by Yin Guoxiong,” hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Sino-Foreign Social and Cultural Exchange and Nanjing Zhengyatang, and organized by Taihe Law Firm, was held with great splendor at Taihe. Guests in attendance showed keen interest, and the atmosphere on site was vibrant and enthusiastic.

 

 

Attending the opening ceremony of this art exhibition were leaders and artists from a number of organizations, including the Jiangsu Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Jiangsu Provincial Research Association for the Development and Reform of State-owned Enterprises, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, the Jiangsu Provincial Society of Foreign Economic, Trade and Accounting, the Jiangsu Overseas Enterprise Group, Jiangsu Huilong Asset Management Co., Ltd., Spruce Capital, the Jiangsu Provincial General Store of Cultural Relics, Zijin Trust, CITIC Tai Fu (Nanjing) Investment Co., Ltd., the Zhuzi Art Museum, and the Twenty-Four Hours Art Museum.

 

 

Attorney Wang Yue, a partner at Taihe Law Firm, presided over the opening ceremony of this art exhibition and introduced the distinguished guests in attendance.

 

 

Mr. Wang Ningsheng, a distinguished guest, delivered the opening address, beginning by expressing his highest regard for Mr. Yin Guoxiong and his work. Mr. Yin places great emphasis on the spiritual expression in his paintings, skillfully blending poetic sentiment with vivid imagery and harmonizing scene and mood. His landscape works boast rich, dazzling colors, expansive and profound compositions, and a robust, opulent quality. As we mark the approaching anniversary of the Party’s founding on July 1st, we extend our warmest wishes for the complete success of this exhibition!

 

 

Director Ma Qun, Chief Partner of Taihe, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the guests in attendance. He noted that this art exhibition serves as a powerful catalyst for strengthening the firm’s cultural development, and expressed his hope that the firm will host more art‑related exchange events on a variety of themes in the future.

 

 

Ms. Julie, General Manager of the Nanjing Zhengyatang Art Museum, extended a warm welcome to the visiting leaders and guests. She noted that Mr. Yin Guoxiong’s exhibition represents a high‑quality exchange of art and culture, and expressed her honor at hosting it at Zhengyatang, while expressing hope that more artists will soon join the museum.

 

 

Mr. Qiu Zhongwen stated that over the past several decades, Mr. Yin Guoxiong has devoted his spare time to practicing calligraphy and painting, and that achieving such a high level has required tremendous hard work. Mr. Yin possesses a solid foundation in calligraphy and is thoroughly proficient in the techniques of traditional Chinese painting.

 

 

Mr. Ruan Lirong stated that Mr. Yin’s works emphasize the expression of emotion; he is skilled in both poetry and painting, deeply loves nature, and holds a profound admiration for landscapes. Nature has infused his life with passion, and he, in turn, excels at using the language of art to convey his innermost feelings.

 

 

Mr. Wang Baojia stated that, while excelling in his professional duties, Mr. Yin Guoxiong has consistently pursued artistic creation, mastering poetry, calligraphy, and painting, each at a remarkably high level of artistry. His works are majestic and grand, imbued with imposing momentum, seamlessly integrating poetry into his paintings and brimming with charm and profound artistic conception.

 

 

Mr. Lu Hongping expressed his great pleasure at attending the opening of Mr. Yin Guoxiong’s art exhibition. Mr. Yin steadfastly regards calligraphy and painting as a path to self-cultivation and spiritual refinement. His landscape paintings embody a humanistic spirit, skillfully blending the natural scenery of both northern and southern landscapes through the masterful use of brush and ink, thereby articulating the profound spiritual essence of nature with a distinct contemporary ethos and artistic character.

 

 

Mr. Mou Kemin, President of the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Sino‑Foreign Social and Cultural Exchange, also spoke highly of Mr. Yin Guoxiong and his work. Mr. Yin is a painter of genuine sincerity and unwavering dedication—diligent and eager to learn—whose canvases brim with a spirit of freedom and boldness, blending traditional depth with a modern sensibility. His distinctive paper‑kneading technique skillfully exploits the textured effects created by rubbing Xuan paper, allowing the natural contours of lofty mountains and deep ravines to emerge in all their unadorned splendor.

 

 

Mr. Yin Guoxiong delivered a speech of thanks, expressing his gratitude to the organizers and hosts for their dedicated support of this art exhibition. He noted that the exhibition has fostered greater understanding among like-minded friends from all sectors and has achieved a seamless fusion of law and art. Mr. Yin also presented a painting to the Zhengyatang Art Gallery.
