On the afternoon of September 22, Shen Dingcheng, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Governance Bureau of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area and Deputy Head of the Special Task Force for the Yangtze River Legal Service Zone, led a delegation to JC Master for a symposium and exchange. Members of the task force, Wang Lu and Wu Guanrun, accompanied him. JC Master’s Chief Partner Ma Qun, Director of the Management Committee Li Yuanyang, Law Office Director Xu Guojin, Executive Committee Chair Zhu Li, and Dean of Cewen Academy Xu Min extended a warm welcome. The two sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on deepening cooperation and jointly advancing the development of the Yangtze River Legal Service Zone.

At the symposium, Director Xu Guojin provided a comprehensive overview of JC Master’s development journey, strategic positioning, and core strengths, emphasizing its deep expertise in cross-border legal services and its pivotal role as a bridge in supporting Chinese enterprises’ international expansion and facilitating the entry of foreign offices into the Chinese market. Subsequently, Director Li Yuanyang stated that JC Master will actively participate in the development of the Yangtze River Legal Services Zone, integrate the office’s resources, and collaborate with the zone to jointly drive innovation in legal services.
Deputy Director Shen Dingcheng provided a detailed overview of the strategic positioning and development plan for the Yangtze River Legal Services Zone. He emphasized that the zone is advancing its development around five key priorities: building distinctive legal service offerings, fostering industrial clustering, nurturing new business models, driving innovation in legal scholarship, and cultivating talent in the rule of law. He noted that JC Master boasts a strong foundation and extensive resources in international legal services and can leverage its core strengths to contribute to the development of specialized services within the Legal Services Zone, thereby providing high‑quality legal support to enterprises engaged in cross‑border activities.
After reviewing the development trajectory of the Yangtze River Legal District, Director Ma Qun put forward forward-looking recommendations. He proposed that, by leveraging the district’s platform advantages and policy support and drawing on JC Master’s specialized resources and network, in-depth cooperation could be pursued across such areas as international legal services, corporate governance and IPOs, rule-of-law innovation research, the attraction and cultivation of high‑end talent, and the optimization of the regional business environment.
During the exchange session, the Legal Affairs District Working Group and JC Master Partners engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as industrial investment promotion strategies, ecological environment development, and sustainable development.
This roundtable discussion was highly productive, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. JC Master will actively integrate into the development of the Legal Services Zone, leveraging its strengths in the legal profession to contribute expert insights to the design and delivery of specialized legal services. Furthermore, JC Master will strengthen collaboration with the Yangtze River Legal Services Zone, jointly advancing its development and helping to foster a business environment characterized by rule of law in the region.
