On September 13, 2025, the Nanjing Lawyers Association successfully concluded the second session of its training program on matrimonial and family law practice for young lawyers. Ma Hongjun, Director of the Nanjing Lawyers Association’s Committee on Matrimonial and Family Law, and Chen Yu, Deputy Director of the Education and Training Committee, attended the graduation ceremony. Shan Aiping, a member of the Nanjing Lawyers Association’s Supervisory Board, was present in an observer capacity.
This session of the training program is both diverse and in-depth, focusing directly on key practical issues. It comprises six thematic modules: a special focus on the Marriage and Family section of the Civil Code, a special focus on the Inheritance section of the Civil Code, a module on the protection of minors, a module on safeguarding women’s rights, skills training for legal practice, and an exploration of innovation and development in matrimonial and family law practice. The instructors are highly authoritative and professional, bringing together industry leaders; a total of 18 distinguished judges, scholars, and experts have been invited to deliver the sessions. The curriculum is closely aligned with the current hot topics and challenging issues in family law services, and through a series of rich, varied, and highly targeted courses, it has established an efficient platform for young lawyers to learn and engage in meaningful exchange.
Following a comprehensive evaluation, Attorney Wang Qian of JC Master Law Office distinguished herself during the training program and was awarded the title of “Outstanding Class Officer.” Attorney Wang Qian expressed that she felt deeply honored to have participated in this training and received such recognition. She added that engaging in exchanges and learning alongside numerous distinguished judges, scholars, and peers has been immensely beneficial, further strengthening her theoretical foundation while broadening her practical perspective.
The JC Master Family Law and Wealth Succession Practice Committee, led by Director Li Xiuhua, consistently upholds the principle of “client first” and is committed to advancing the professionalization of family law services.
