JC Master Celebrates: Lawyers Wang Xiao and Gao Jingyu of JC Master Win First Prize in the Nanjing Bar Association Moot Court Competition.

Good News from JC Master

On August 23, 2025, the finals of the Second Jinling Lawyers’ Professional Skills Competition, organized by the Nanjing Lawyers Association, commenced. The organizing committee specially invited a panel of experts from the courts, procuratorates, judicial bureaus, and the bar association to serve as judges, employing an official courtroom‑style format to evaluate the participating teams on their document preparation, courtroom performance, and legal expertise. Lawyers Wang Xiao and Gao Jingyu of JC Master Law Office delivered outstanding performances to clinch the championship!

This civil trial competition brought together 32 teams, including several well-known law offices in Nanjing, as well as active participation from bar associations within the Nanjing metropolitan area, such as the Yangzhou Bar Association and the Ma’anshan Bar Association.

The mock trial competition is divided into three stages: the preliminary round, the semi-final round, and the final. Based on the draw, participating lawyers are assigned to either the plaintiff or defendant side and engage in intense adversarial proceedings centered on cases provided by the organizing committee. All rounds—preliminary, semi-final, and final—are conducted as knockout tournaments, resulting in exceptionally fierce competition.

In the final round, Wang Xiao and Attorney Gao Jingyu, representing JC Master, demonstrated exceptional skill and professional integrity through their in-depth analysis of the real‑world case background provided by the organizing committee, meticulous examination of the case materials, and precise understanding of the legal relationships at issue. As counsel for the defendant, they exhibited outstanding teamwork and poise during the trial, ultimately securing first place with a high overall score.
