JC Master Updates | A delegation from the Sino-U.S. Cultural Research Center of Nanjing University–Johns Hopkins University and the Jiangsu Provincial Law Society’s Research Association on Foreign-related Rule of Law paid a visit to JC Master for a symposium and exchange.

On the afternoon of March 11, Professor Sun Wen, Deputy Director of the Sino‑U.S. Cultural Research Center at Nanjing University–Johns Hopkins University, and Professor Hu Xiaohong, President of the Jiangsu Provincial Law Society’s Research Association on Foreign‑Related Rule of Law, paid a visit to JC Master. They were warmly received by Ma Qun, Chief Partner of JC Master; Li Yuanyang, Director of the Management Committee; Zhu Li, Director of the Executive Committee; and Xu Min, Dean of the Cewen Institute, among others. The two sides held a symposium to discuss topics such as the cultivation of talent in the field of foreign‑related rule of law.

It was nearly dawn when I finished revising the client’s documents. Gazing at my reflection in the window, I recalled a day from a few years ago—when I, too, was buried beneath piles of books, tirelessly poring over case‑study reports for my school courses under the glow of a lamp. Back then, my state of mind was remarkably pure: my classmates and I were deeply immersed in lively discussions of legal theory and diverse perspectives, driven by a shared passion to unearth treasures along the shores of jurisprudence.

On the afternoon of March 7, the Party Branch of JC Master Law Office held its 2024 organizational life meeting and democratic evaluation of Party members. The meeting was chaired by Zhu Li, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, and was actively attended by all Party members of the JC Master Party Branch.

JC Master Updates | Attorney Luo Jiangqun of JC Master (Taizhou) was invited to conduct public legal education campaigns on the protection of women’s rights for multiple enterprises.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, in order to further strengthen female employees’ legal awareness and enhance their capacity to safeguard women’s rights, Taizhou Culture and Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Susa Food Co., Ltd., and other enterprises have specially invited Attorney Luo Jiangqun of JC Master (Taizhou) to conduct public‑legal education activities on the protection of women’s rights.

JC Master Celebrates: JC Master Lawyers Selected for the Jiangsu Provincial Foreign‑Related Lawyers Talent Pool and the Jiangsu Foreign‑Related Lawyers Service Lecture Series Faculty

To meet the demands of foreign-related legal services in the new context and to strengthen the development of a pool of international‑oriented lawyers, the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association has launched an initiative to review and update its Foreign‑Related Lawyers Talent Database, while simultaneously initiating the selection process for members of the “Jiangsu Foreign‑Related Lawyers Service Lecture Series” faculty. Through a structured procedure involving the establishment of clear criteria, self‑nomination, and rigorous evaluation, the Association has selected 379 members for the Foreign‑Related Lawyers Talent Database and 43 members for the Foreign‑Related Lawyers Service Lecture Series faculty.

JC Master Updates | Attorney He Ying of our office was invited to attend the Second Women’s Congress of the Nanjing Lawyers’ Industry.

On March 2, 2025, the Second Congress of Women in the Nanjing Lawyers’ Industry was successfully held in the Nanjing Lawyers Association’s conference hall. Attending the event were Wang Qing, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Justice Bureau, as well as Secretary of the Party Committee of the city’s lawyers’ industry; Hou Junhua, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairwoman of the Municipal Women’s Federation; Liu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the city’s lawyers’ industry and President of the Nanjing Lawyers Association; Xi Chao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the city’s lawyers’ industry and Supervisor-in-Chief of the Nanjing Lawyers Association; Liu Yongqiang, Director of the Lawyers’ Work Division of the Municipal Justice Bureau and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the city’s lawyers’ industry; Chen Yang, Chairwoman of the First Executive Committee of the Women’s Federation of the city’s lawyers’ industry; Deng Bin, Deputy Director of the Rights and Interests Department of the Municipal Women’s Federation; all members of the Party Committee of the city’s lawyers’ industry; and 65 women representatives from across the city’s legal profession. The meeting was chaired by Wei Chunchun, Full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the city’s lawyers’ industry and Secretary-General of the Nanjing Lawyers Association. Attorney He Ying of JC Master Law Office attended the event as a delegate.
