JC Master Xu Guo Jin Director He delivered the opening remarks, stating that, as a law office with a 40-year history, transformation and upgrading are essential challenges of our times. Wang Qing pointed out that many founders of science and technology startups are “giants in technology but infants when it comes to business,” making them particularly vulnerable to risks in areas such as financing terms, intellectual property, and corporate governance. To address this, she officially unveiled the Implementation Plan for Comprehensive Legal and Tax Services for Science and Technology Enterprises: with the aim of… Science and Technology Innovation Office “Based on this model, we provide integrated services encompassing legal security, fiscal and tax compliance, capital‑raising roadmap planning, and corporate governance optimization, all delivered in a standardized manner.” SOP With a process‑driven, end‑to‑end delivery model, our first-year goal is to serve 50 science and technology enterprises, precisely addressing the key challenges they face as they grow.
In the presence of all the guests, Director Xu Guojin and Founder Wang Qing signed a strategic cooperation agreement and unveiled the Botai Science and Technology Innovation Legal and Tax Service Center. This marks a deep integration of resources between JC Master Law Office and the Doctor Alliance, leveraging Suzhou’s advantages as a leading science and technology innovation hub in the Yangtze River Delta to provide targeted support to innovative enterprises through a “law + tax + industry” approach.

Following the unveiling ceremony, tax expert Duan Lingyun delivered a specialized presentation on “Tax and Financial Risk Management and Compliance Services for Science and Technology Innovation Enterprises.” Focusing on practical scenarios such as the additional deduction of R&D expenses, the certification of high-tech enterprises, and common risks in tax audits, he conducted an in-depth analysis of the compliance gaps faced by these companies and proposed end-to-end solutions—covering everything from institutional framework design to evidence‑chain management.
Director of the Tax and Legal Affairs Committee of JC Master Attorney Liu Jun emphasized that tax and financial compliance is not a constraint, but rather the foundational infrastructure for enterprises seeking to enter the capital markets. By proactively standardizing R&D project initiation, expense allocation, and supporting documentation, companies can both fully capitalize on policy incentives and effectively mitigate compliance risks.
During the open‑discussion session, Gu Zhen, Partner for the Forbes brand in China, and Gao Hanmei, Partner at Suzhou Gumu Asset Management, drew on their investment experience to share the key areas of focus for investment offices in legal and tax due diligence. Meanwhile, attorneys Zhang Xinran and Yang Yunhui engaged actively with the panel, addressing practical challenges and points of uncertainty while engaging in an in‑depth exchange of insights.
At the conclusion of the event, all the guests posed for a group photo.
