A Party member is a banner; an elderly Party member is a living chapter of the Party’s history. On the afternoon of June 27, the Party Committee of the Nanjing legal profession convened a symposium for both new and veteran lawyer Party members in the conference room of the Municipal Lawyers Association, to share their original aspirations and carry forward the red legacy.
Lawyers Wan Xinyue of Jiangsu Zhonglü Law Office and Xu Suping of Jiangsu Dalu Law Office, who have each served the Party for 50 years, attended the symposium. Liu Wei, a member of the Municipal Lawyers’ Industry Party Committee and President of the Municipal Lawyers Association, attended the meeting and addressed the participants. Our office’s Party members, Comrades Wei Yan, Li Daqiao, and He Jingjing, actively took part in the discussions and delivered remarks.

The symposium was chaired by Lin Yan, the full-time deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee for the Legal Profession. During the meeting, attorneys Wan Xinyue and Xu Suping fondly recalled their more than fifty-year journey of dedication to the Party and offered earnest exhortations to young lawyer‑party members. Liu Wei, a member of the Party Committee of the legal profession and President of the Municipal Lawyers Association, presented the “50 Years of Glory in the Party” commemorative medal to Attorney Wan Xinyue, Attorney Xu Suping, and Comrade Wang Qifu of Jiangsu Jinling Law Office (who was not in Nanjing and was represented by Comrade Zhang Ping, the Party branch secretary). Party members from JC Master actively participated in the symposium and exchange.
Attorney Wei Yan, a partner at JC Master, shared her reflections and expressed deep admiration for the exemplary conduct and professional ethos of the veteran lawyers who have served the Party for fifty years. Participants then took turns to speak, voicing their profound affection for the Party and reafofficeing their resolve to dedicate their lives to the cause of the Party and the legal profession.
