Recently, the second session of the Young Lawyers’ Training Program on Family and Marriage Law, organized by the Nanjing Lawyers Association, successfully commenced on July 5, 2025. For this session, the Association selected more than 80 distinguished family law practitioners from Nanjing, Changzhou, Huai’an, Taizhou, Zhenjiang, Chuzhou, Ma’anshan, Wuhu, Xuancheng, and other cities, who will participate in a six‑session, systematic training program. Attorney Wang Qian of our office was honored to be among the participants, thanks to her outstanding professional expertise, and was also elected as the class study committee member.
Building on the successful outcomes of the inaugural session, this training program has further refined its curriculum and strengthened its faculty, with the aim of cultivating leading professionals in the field of matrimonial and family law and enhancing the brand competitiveness of Nanjing’s matrimonial and family‑law bar. The program will employ a diversified teaching approach—combining intensive lectures, case‑based discussions, and thesis writing—to provide systematic training in participants’ specialized knowledge, professional skills, and practical competencies, thereby solidifying their theoretical foundation and bolstering their real‑world capabilities, thus laying a robust groundwork for young lawyers to handle complex matrimonial and family‑law matters. In addition, the program will enforce strict attendance policies and implement a rigorous elimination system: participants are required to engage in case‑study discussions and submit research‑and‑practice reports; upon passing the assessment, they will receive a certificate of completion, and outstanding trainees will be recognized through a comprehensive evaluation, setting exemplary standards and motivating all participants to strive for excellence.
Attorney Wang Qian stated that she feels deeply honored to have been selected for this training program and elected as the class learning committee member. She will cherish this opportunity, devote herself fully to the coursework, engage in in-depth exchanges with distinguished family law practitioners, strive to enhance her expertise in family law practice, and continuously innovate and refine her family law service offerings.
