To help enterprises better understand current laws, regulations, and policies, strengthen their awareness of legal risks in cross-border trade, and promote the optimization and upgrading of a law-based business environment, in June 2025, the Judicial Bureau of Rudong County, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, in collaboration with the Rudong County Development and Reform Commission, the Rudong County Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Rudong County Lawyers Association, jointly hosted the Second Rudong County Enterprise Rule of Law Lecture Series and the “Safeguarding Private Enterprises” Special Legal Education Campaign. This event aims to provide market entities with higher‑quality legal safeguards through diversified rule-of-law services, thereby supporting the high‑quality development of enterprises.
Hu Aopeng, Director of the Cross‑Border Trade Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association and Managing Partner of JC Master (Nantong) Law Office, was invited to deliver a compelling lecture on legal risk prevention in cross‑border trade. Drawing on real‑world business scenarios, Attorney Hu provided a clear and comprehensive overview of relevant foreign‑related laws and regulations, covering contract drafting, payment collection, intellectual property, export controls, commercial fraud, and dispute resolution. He also outlined practical risk‑mitigation strategies to help enterprises navigate an increasingly complex and volatile international economic environment.
