On the afternoon of May 26, Tao Daorong, Director of the Jianye District Justice Bureau, along with Deputy Director Ding Youjun and Head of the Legal Services Management Section Wang Wenhua, paid a visit to JC Master Law Office to conduct an inspection and provide guidance. They were warmly received by Ma Qun, Chief Partner of JC Master and Chairman of the Jiangsu “Belt and Road” International Legal Services Alliance; Li Yuanyang, Director of the Management Committee; Xu Guojin, Party Branch Secretary and Managing Partner; Zhu Li, Deputy Party Branch Secretary and Executive Committee Chair; Ling Jianhao and Shi Qiao, Managing Partners; and Xu Min, Operations Director and Dean of Cewen Academy.
Director Tao and his delegation toured JC Master’s office spaces, the Party members’ activity room, the JC Master Gallery, and the leisure area, gaining insights into the office’s cultural development and brand-building efforts. The professional environment and the lawyers’ spirited demeanor left a lasting impression on the leaders. Following the tour, both sides moved to JC Master’s main conference room for a roundtable discussion.
Executive Committee Chair Julie began by providing an overview of JC Master’s general situation, presenting reports on its honors, achievements, research initiatives, public‑service activities, and cultural contributions. She noted that this year marks the 40th anniversary of JC Master’s founding, with a series of celebratory events planned. Following this, Managing Partner Ling Jianhao outlined the office’s accomplishments in Party building, emphasizing that JC Master has consistently placed Party leadership at the forefront and leveraged it to strengthen institutional development. Subsequently, Director Xu Guojin detailed the operational status of the Jiangsu Belt and Road International Legal Services Alliance, highlighting that, as the alliance’s chair unit, JC Master has been committed to establishing a globally oriented legal service platform. Grounded in Jiangsu, serving China, and exerting influence worldwide, the Jiangsu Belt and Road International Legal Services Alliance integrates legal resources from overseas Chinese communities around the globe, offering legal support to Chinese enterprises expanding internationally and to foreign entities seeking to enter the Chinese market, thereby contributing to the high‑quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
After listening to the report, Director Tao Daorong expressed full appreciation for JC Master’s work. He noted that, as a homegrown Jiangsu brand, JC Master has achieved remarkable results in the legal services sector, particularly in cross-border legal practice, where it has pioneered a distinctive “JC Master model” to support Chinese enterprises expanding overseas. This year, cross-border legal services are a key priority for the Jianye District Justice Bureau, and he urged JC Master—recognized as a premier law office in Jianye District—to continue making substantial contributions in this area.
Taking this research and guidance mission as an opportunity, JC Master will continue to enhance the professionalism and quality of its international legal services, providing Chinese enterprises with more robust and reliable legal safeguards as they expand overseas, and helping them navigate the myriad legal challenges posed by the globalization process.
