JC Master Celebrates: Attorneys Ma Lei and Gao Jingyu of JC Master have been honored as Outstanding Leading Talents in the “Construction Engineering Law” field at the inaugural Nanjing City awards.

On November 17, 2025, the first “Leading Legal Professionals Training Program in the Construction Engineering Sector” in Nanjing concluded successfully. Attorneys Ma Lei and Gao Jingyu of JC Master Law Office were honored as outstanding participants, recognized for their profound insights into construction‑related legal issues and their exceptional performance during the program.
 

The Nanjing Lawyers Association, in collaboration with the Huai’an Lawyers Association and the Nanjing Metropolitan Area Construction Law Alliance, jointly organized the first Nanjing Training Program for Leading Legal Professionals in the construction engineering sector. This program is a key component of the Nanjing Lawyers Association’s “Thousand‑Person Plan,” selecting 100 outstanding legal professionals from Nanjing and 10 from Huai’an to participate. Officially launched in May 2025, the six‑month program delved into critical issues such as tendering and bidding, construction quality and appraisal, construction cost estimation and the new bill‑of‑quantities pricing standards, project timelines, priority rights to payment in construction projects, and engineering general contracting—topics that closely mirror the legal challenges frequently encountered in judicial practice within the construction industry. The program also brought together numerous industry experts to facilitate discussions, providing participants with deeper legal insights and practical experience.

Following six months of intensive training, the Nanjing Lawyers Association and the Huai’an Lawyers Association jointly conducted a comprehensive evaluation of 110 leading talents, selecting 26 outstanding trainees from the Nanjing region and 3 from the Huai’an region. Attorneys Ma Lei and Gao Jingyu of JC Master Law Office provided in-depth analyses of the case studies, demonstrating a keen grasp of legal applicability and showcasing their exceptional expertise across various engineering fields as well as their strong legal acumen. As a result, they were awarded the title of “Outstanding Trainee” in the overall assessment.
