Shouldering our mission, we attend this grand gathering and put forward sound proposals to improve people’s livelihoods. During the ongoing Two Sessions, The deputies and members of this institute who serve as deputies to the People’s Congress and members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference not only listened attentively to the Government Work Report, but also leveraged their professional expertise, occupational strengths, and practical experience to convey public opinion. They actively addressed issues of concern to the people, focused on comprehensively enhancing governance effectiveness, and engaged proactively in state affairs, offering constructive advice and proposals.
Bearing earnest expectations, deputies and members of the CPPCC have gathered at this grand event, bringing with them public sentiment and insightful perspectives. Next, we will share with you the on‑the‑ground scenes from the sessions in Nanjing, Taizhou, and Suzhou, as experienced by our office’s deputies to the Two Sessions and members of the CPPCC.
On the morning of January 6, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Jianye District, Nanjing, was solemnly convened. Members of the CPPCC from all sectors of society across the district gathered to earnestly fulfill their functions of political consultation, democratic oversight, and participation in state affairs, jointly deliberating on major development plans and formulating sound strategies for construction. On the morning of January 7, the Fourth Session of the 19th People’s Congress of Jianye District, Nanjing, opened with great solemnity. Deputies to the Congress, representing all sectors and fronts across the district, attended the session bearing the earnest trust of the people of the entire district, conscientiously fulfilling the sacred duties entrusted to them by the Constitution and the law, and jointly charting a blueprint for Jianye’s endeavors in the year ahead. On January 6, the Fourth Session of the Third Committee of the Nanjing Gulou District Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference opened. At the session, members gathered to conscientiously fulfill their duties of political consultation, democratic oversight, and participation in state affairs, jointly deliberating on major development strategies and drawing up a bright blueprint. They pledged to contribute their wisdom and strength to writing a new chapter in the modernization of Gulou—characterized by strength, prosperity, beauty, and high standards—and to take the lead and set an example in the modernization of the central urban area. Lawyer Ling Jianhao, a partner at JC Master Law Office, attended the meeting as a member of the Standing Committee of the Gulou District Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
January 6, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference The Fourth Session of the Sixth Committee of Gaogang District, Taizhou City, was held at the International Convention Center of China Medical City. Lawyer Tang Xuebin, Executive Director of the JC Master (Taizhou) Office, attended the meeting as a member of the CPPCC Committee of Gaogang District.
January 5, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference The Fourth Session of the 16th Committee of Wujiang District, Suzhou City, opened at the Wujiang People’s Grand Theater. Attorney Chen Xinnian, Director of the Management Committee and Senior Partner at JC Master (Suzhou) Law Office, attended the meeting as a member of the Wujiang District CPPCC Committee.

On January 5, the Fourth Session of the Fifth Committee of the Suzhou Xiangcheng District Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference was held at the Suzhou International Convention Center. Attorney Zhang Xinran, a partner at JC Master (Suzhou) Law Office, attended the meeting as a member of the Xiangcheng District Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
All the deputies and members who participated in the Two Sessions stated that they felt deeply honored to represent the legal profession at the meetings, fully aware of the great responsibilities entrusted to them. Moving forward, they pledged to uphold a office political stance, remain committed to the people and attentive to their livelihoods, and fully leverage their roles as representatives. They will also capitalize on the professional strengths of the legal community to contribute to the comprehensive advancement of local political, economic, cultural, social, and rule-of-law development, ensure the successful completion of all tasks, and accelerate regional economic growth.
In recent years, numerous senior lawyers and office leaders at our office have served as deputies to the People’s Congress, members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and in other relevant social roles. Leveraging their expertise in law and their deep understanding of legal principles, they have actively offered policy recommendations and contributed to local economic and social development. The appointment of bar‑association representatives to people’s congresses and CPPCC committees at all levels is a significant manifestation of the legal profession’s participation in the nation’s political life and its role in deliberation and governance. It also plays an important role in harnessing the professional and occupational strengths of the legal community and in advancing the national rule‑of‑law framework and modernizing governance capabilities.
