In 1985, in the ancient capital of Jinling, a seed named “the rule of law” broke ground and began to sprout in the early spring of the times. Jiangsu United Law Office, with a team of just three lawyers, penned the pioneering opening chapter on the scroll of history.

The evolution of our name reflects the expansion of our vision. Over five years of rigorous refinement, we shed the shell of “United” and transformed into the soaring phoenix of “Jiangsu”; by 1996, we finally settled on the name “JC Master”—a tribute to the ideal of “national peace and people’s well-being, harmony born of heaven.” From that moment onward, our course was set, and our horizons unfolded in boundless splendor.

In 1994, a seismic shift occurred. With extraordinary resolve, JC Master cast aside the rigid constraints of the traditional institutional framework and became the first law office in China to complete a full-scale restructuring of its entire workforce. This bold undertaking was not mere showmanship; it was a groundbreaking move—fueled by an unwavering determination to leave no retreat, daring to brave the vast ocean and ultimately soaring to new heights, spreading its wings across ninety thousand li.

Once a spark, it has now set alight the bustling streets of Shanghai, the fiery spirit of Qiongzhou, the timeless charm of Pengcheng, and the ethereal mist of the farthest frontiers—woven into a national tapestry by the light of the law. Today, our foundations run deep in the Shenzhen speed, the Suzhou artistry, the Taizhou cultural heritage, and the Nantong riverside ethos; a symphony of four regions, bringing together two hundred elite minds to co‑create a galaxy of professional excellence.
