Time has flown, and before I knew it, I’ve already spent nearly two and a half years at JC Master. During this period, I’ve engaged in a wide range of non-litigation matters—ranging from providing legal advice and drafting/revamping contracts for corporate clients to participating in the entire process of corporate IPOs. Each assignment has been immensely rewarding. Non‑litigation work has cultivated in me a penchant for summarizing and systematizing: breaking down each complete project into its constituent parts and then standardizing the approach. This not only boosts efficiency but also helps establish a consistent working style and set of habits.
……
In the days ahead, I will continue to uphold the guiding principle of “looking outward, seeking inward, and moving forward,” relentlessly exploring the boundless possibilities of the non-litigation field. I will proactively seek out more opportunities for learning and platforms for practical experience, continually broadening my horizons and expanding my knowledge; I will deeply reflect on my own shortcomings and strive to improve, steadily enhancing my professional expertise and overall capabilities; and I will forge ahead with courage toward my dreams, undaunted by difficulties and obstacles, and resolutely taking each step with conviction.
Looking back on my journey of growth in non-litigation practice, I see that it has been fraught with challenges and hardships, yet every step has been taken with unwavering resolve and strength. Non‑litigation lawyers are not merely unsung heroes working behind the scenes; they are also the helmsmen who, amid the surging tide of corporate development, wield the oar of law and the sail of wisdom to help businesses navigate turbulent waters. Each successful risk mitigation effort and each precise legal judgment represents a contribution we make to societal stability and corporate prosperity.
In the days ahead, I will continue to write my own non-litigation saga with boundless passion and tireless dedication. I believe that as long as I keep looking outward, seeking within, and moving forward, I will shine brightly in this field brimming with both challenges and opportunities. Let us together look forward to seeing how that adventurer armed with a match will ignite an even more radiant light!

Periodic feedback and rewards serve as a quantifiable measure of effort and dedication, thereby boosting motivation. For example, in a game where players battle monsters and clear levels, every bit of investment—whether it’s time, energy, or resources—leads to a corresponding boost in their character’s level, improved equipment, and faster progress through the stages. This immediate feedback keeps dopamine flowing, delivering a sense of satisfaction that encourages continued engagement. Meanwhile, game developers reap financial gains and can use those profits to further refine and enhance the experience. In this way, it’s a win‑win model. The legal profession operates similarly: professionals earn respect through expertise and trust, which in turn secures client mandates. Each case handled adds to our practical experience, and every successful outcome brings shared joy—both for our clients and for us. May professional value be duly recognized, legitimate rights be safeguarded, hard work be rewarded, and long‑term mutual success be achieved.
……
Leap years were instituted to reconcile differing methods of timekeeping, using time itself to bridge the discrepancies between the solar and lunar calendars. In truth, there is nothing truly “to be made up for”; as long as we do not squander the life ahead of us—by learning and striving forward—and quietly “accumulate surplus” during our low points, one day that surplus will surely suffice to “complete a full year.”
……
“There is no such thing as a truly right choice in this world; all we can do is strive to make the choice we made back then the right one.” That was my response at the time. Perhaps, in my teacher’s eyes, it was merely a clever way of deflecting a sharp question. But over the past three years, I have indeed kept pressing forward, determined to ensure that choosing law—and the legal profession—was the right decision for me, and I will continue to work hard to become a competent and outstanding lawyer.
