On the afternoon of July 31, the appointment ceremony for the directors and deputy directors of the Second-term Business Committee and Working Committee of Taihe Law Firm was successfully held at the firm’s headquarters. Attending the ceremony were Li Yuanyang, Director of the Taihe Management Committee; Xu Guojin, Managing Partner; Zhu Li, Chair of the Executive Committee; as well as the newly appointed directors and deputy directors of the two committees. The meeting was chaired by partner Shi Qiao.

Following the implementation of its specialization strategy, Taihe’s Practice Committees—key platforms for advancing professional development—have achieved significant results in areas such as the delivery of specialized expertise, talent cultivation, and the integration of practice across head offices and branch offices. To further leverage the unique strengths of lawyers in each practice area, deepen cross‑practice collaboration, and elevate Taihe’s level of professionalization, the Management Committee has approved the initiation of a leadership transition. Through a process that included individual applications, eligibility reviews, and deliberations by the Management Committee, the chairpersons and vice‑chairpersons of the new term of Practice Committees and Specialized Committees have been duly appointed.

Announce the appointment decision and present the letters of appointment.

At the meeting, Executive Committee Chair Attorney Zhu Li announced the appointment decisions for the directors and deputy directors of the second-term Two Committees of Taihe. Subsequently, Management Committee Chair Attorney Li Yuanyang and Firm Director Attorney Xu Guojin presented appointment letters to the directors and deputy directors of the Practice Committee, while Executive Committee Chair Attorney Zhu Li conferred appointment letters on the directors and deputy directors of the Working Committee, followed by a group photo.

At the appointment ceremony, attorneys Xu Tao, Xu Hao, and Li Xiuhua delivered remarks as representatives of the two committees’ directors, each articulating their perspectives on the Business Committee’s role in fostering a supportive platform, the risk-control function’s critical support responsibilities, and the guiding principle of “upholding fundamentals while innovating, with professionalism paramount” that underpins committee development. All participants unanimously pledged to remain grounded in their respective roles, leverage their expertise, and contribute through concrete actions to Taihe’s high‑quality growth.

In his address, Attorney Xu Guojin, Director of the law firm, stated that the establishment of this term’s two committees is aligned with Taihe’s strategic development goals for the next three to five years. The newly appointed directors are expected to set a professional standard and assume the critical responsibility of guiding their teams and nurturing young lawyers. He emphasized that, as the central hub for integrating the firm’s headquarters and branch operations, these two committees must play a pivotal role in advancing professional expertise, fostering cross‑functional collaboration, and driving innovation. He encouraged all committee directors to take proactive ownership, using their three‑year terms as a starting point to jointly elevate Taihe’s high‑quality development to a new level.

In his address, Attorney Li Yuanyang, Director of the Management Committee, stated that “professionalism first, clients foremost” is the core value that Taihe has steadfastly upheld. The two committees serve as vital platforms for identifying and nurturing talent, and appointing outstanding lawyers to the positions of chair and vice‑chairs is both an opportunity and a responsibility. He encouraged the newly appointed chairs of the two committees to strive to become influential leading attorneys in the profession, leveraging their professional expertise to enhance the Taihe brand.
