Party Building in JC Master | The Suzhou Wuxi Chamber of Commerce and the School of Marxism at Soochow University Conduct a Special Research Visit to JC Master (Suzhou)

On July 3, 2024, the Suzhou–Wuxi Chamber of Commerce and the School of Marxism at Soochow University jointly formed a research team to conduct a special survey on law offices’ fulfillment of social responsibility in JC Master (Suzhou). Representatives of the JC Master (Suzhou) Party Branch warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and shared insights into the Suzhou branch’s Party-building efforts and the development of its Party Secretary project, engaging in an exchange of views.

At the meeting, the Party Branch of JC Master (Suzhou) provided a detailed briefing on the implementation measures and interim achievements of its Party‑building initiative, “‘Good Lawyers’ Resolve Disputes and Mediate Conflicts.” By establishing a team of volunteer lawyers, the Suzhou Branch’s Party Branch has engaged directly with courts, procuratorates, legal aid centers, subdistrict offices, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and enterprises—addressing disputes at the front lines and proactively shouldering the social responsibilities of the office and its attorneys. The interim results have received unanimous praise from the research team. This field visit further strengthened communication between the Suzhou Branch and the Wuxi Chamber of Commerce and local schools, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

The Party Branch of JC Master (Suzhou) is committed to establishing a diversified dispute-resolution mechanism that integrates “Party building + legal services + grassroots conflict resolution” and “Party building + legal services + rule-of-law‑based business environment.” Guided by Party leadership, leveraging pro bono legal services as a key initiative, and striving to become lawyers who earn the people’s trust, the branch builds bridges of communication between the office and enterprises, schools, and other stakeholders, thereby continuously enhancing the brand influence of the Suzhou office.
