JC Master News | The 7th Session of the 5th Council of the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Corporate Legal Affairs, together with the Exchange Meeting on Legal and Compliance Work in State-Owned Enterprises, was successfully held at our office.


On the afternoon of April 16, the seventh session of the Fifth Council of the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Corporate Legal Affairs, together with a symposium on legal and compliance work in state-owned enterprises, was successfully held in JC Master. As a vice-presidential unit of the association, JC Master Law Office served as the host of this event. Zhou Jianhai, President of the association, Xue Xinghua, Vice-President, along with the Secretary-General, supervisors, council members, and heads of corporate legal departments from relevant enterprises, gathered to discuss cutting-edge issues in corporate rule-of-law development and compliance management under the new circumstances.

 

 

The meeting systematically outlined the Association’s work plan for 2026 and its current priority tasks, and deliberated on the implementation plan for the group standard “Standards for Assessing the Competencies of Corporate Legal Professionals,” thereby further clarifying the direction for building an industry‑wide talent evaluation framework. In addition, the meeting approved matters related to the appointment of an additional Deputy Secretary-General, injecting fresh momentum into the Association’s organizational development.

 

 

During the session on legal compliance and case management in state-owned enterprises, Attorney Jiang Haijun, Director of Ruitu, delivered a keynote address titled “New Trends in Intellectual Property Protection in the Current International Environment.” Attorney Li Yuanyang, Director of the JC Master Management Committee, provided an analysis of “New Laws and Regulations Reshaping the Compliance Baseline for State-Owned Enterprises: Three New Rules on Ethical Professional Conduct, Accountability, and Rule-of-Law Governance.” Meanwhile, Attorney Shi Qiao, a partner at JC Master, engaged in a practical discussion on “Case Selection and Design under the Regulations on the Administration of State‑Owned Asset Cases.” The three speakers’ presentations, closely aligned with cutting-edge policy developments and practical needs, were unanimously praised by the attendees.

 

 

This conference featured substantive content and a tightly packed agenda, encompassing both high-level strategic planning and practical expertise, thereby providing valuable insights for advancing legal compliance in Jiangsu Province’s state-owned enterprises. As a vice-president unit of the association, JC Master Law Office will continue to leverage its professional strengths to help enterprises enhance their rule-of-law‑based governance and risk‑management capabilities.
