On the afternoon of March 29, the “JC Master Cup” friendly soccer match—part of a series of events celebrating the 40th anniversary of JC Master Law Office—kicked off once again at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center. In this city of spring, adorned with cherry blossoms and crabapple trees, Team JC Master (in blue) faced off against the Nanjing Alumni All-Stars from the “Mountain City” (in white and purple), forging friendships through the game and adding another vibrant movement to the symphony of the season.

The Nanjing Alumni United Team, composed of alumni from Chongqing University, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Chongqing Technology and Business University, Southwest University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and other Chongqing‑based institutions, serves as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange among Chongqing alumni in the Nanjing area. Dressed in white-and-purple jerseys, the team members not only showcase the strong sense of unity among Chongqing university alumni in Nanjing but also use football as a bridge to foster interaction between alumni from both Chongqing and Nanjing.

On the day of the match, the blue jerseys and the white-and-purple uniforms wove together a distinctive springtime tableau, as players from both sides traded offense and defense with seamless teamwork and individual flair. JC Master’s team threatened with penetrating runs through the center, while Shancheng United relied on swift counterattacks down the flanks to break open the defense.

In the dying moments, the Shancheng United team snatched a thrilling victory with a brilliant counterattack, bringing this springtime showdown to a perfect close.

As an integral part of the series of events marking the 40th anniversary of JC Master Law Office, the “JC Master Cup” football tournament has forged bonds of professional exchange within the legal community and strengthened ties among alumni.
