To enrich lawyers’ extracurricular lives and strengthen industry cohesion and team spirit, the Fourth Taizhou Lawyers’ Team-Building Games were solemnly held on November 8, 2025, at the Yangtze River Huyou Health Gymnasium. Zhao Feng, a second-level researcher at the Municipal Justice Bureau and Party Secretary of the Municipal Lawyers’ Industry; Zhu Lianhai, Supervisor-General of the Provincial Lawyers Association and President of the Municipal Lawyers Association; Cao Jiaquan, Supervisor-General of the Municipal Lawyers Association; Yi Gang, Director of the Lawyers’ Work Division of the Municipal Justice Bureau and Secretary-General of the Municipal Lawyers Association; and Yuan Yi, Vice President of the Municipal Lawyers Association, among other leaders, attended the event, joining more than 120 lawyer-athletes from seven citywide teams to witness this grand sporting celebration of “legal‑industry elites.”
Lawyer Tang Xuebin, Executive Director of JC Master (Taizhou) Law Office, was invited to deliver a traditional Chen-style Taijiquan performance at the opening ceremony. With each movement and pause, the routine seamlessly blended strength and softness, showcasing the distinctive charm of the Chen style—its signature “cable‑like” power and its hallmark of looseness, suppleness, and explosive rebound—while also highlighting the lawyers’ poised and composed demeanor. The performance earned thunderous applause from the audience.
Attorney Tang Xuebin serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Taizhou Wushu Association and is a 12th-generation inheritor of Chen-style Taijiquan. He studied under Master Chen Zhaosen, a renowned master of Chen-style Taijiquan from Chenjiagou, holds a coach certification from the Chenjiagou Taijiquan Kung Fu School, and has repeatedly won first place in traditional martial arts and Taijiquan competitions at both the Jiangsu Province and Taizhou City levels.
Taijiquan is a treasured gem of Chinese martial arts, embodying the wisdom of “the harmonious interplay of yin and yang and the unity of heaven and humanity,” which perfectly complements the spirit of this event. This sports meet not only provides Taizhou’s lawyers with a platform to showcase their talents but also strengthens the collective strength of the profession and fosters deeper bonds among its members.
