On August 10, the “AI Co‑Creation” series of closed-door meetings, hosted by Xinze Xin Kong Workshop, was successfully held in Shanghai. Xu Guojin, Director at Taihe Law Firm, attended the event, joining Xinze founder Yu Pengming (Da Yu) and a group of manufacturing‑digitalization experts, legal‑tech entrepreneurs, and multi‑regional law‑firm leaders. Together, they engaged in in-depth discussions and co‑creation around practical pathways for implementing AI technologies in law‑firm management and legal practice.
At the conference, cross-industry guests and legal‑tech entrepreneurs shared real‑world insights on how AI systems in the industrial sector drive cost reduction and efficiency gains, as well as collaborative tools designed to support lawyers across the entire case‑handling process. During the law firm practice‑sharing session, Director Xu Guojin, from a management perspective, provided a comprehensive overview of Taihe’s self‑developed “Taihe Cloud” platform and its phased integration of AI capabilities, while candidly identifying four key challenges currently hindering the adoption of AI in law firms: data security, tool accuracy, cost‑effectiveness, and the monetization of existing data assets. This viewpoint resonated strongly with attendees, sparking a lively and engaged discussion.
During the closed-door co‑creation session, Director Xu Guojin engaged in an in-depth exchange with leaders of law firms from Shanghai, Jiangsu, and other regions, discussing the practical challenges of AI implementation, risk management, and the pace of deployment. The discussion both highlighted Taihe’s interim findings and drew on the valuable experiences of other firms in achieving lightweight efficiency gains without disrupting lawyers’ established workflows. Following deliberation, all parties reached a consensus: AI‑driven transformation of the legal industry is an inevitable trend, and law firms should proactively plan ahead by integrating and developing solutions based on existing tools. The key to competitive advantage lies not in the models themselves, but in their ability to understand specific use cases and adapt to relevant workflows.
Since 2016, Taihe has systematically invested in legal‑tech research. In 2017, it officially launched a digital platform, and its self‑developed “Taihe Cloud” system now seamlessly supports end-to-end management across all offices. At present, Taihe is steadily advancing the exploration and application of AI in legal practice, with a primary focus on enhancing lawyers’ productivity. Looking ahead, Taihe will continue to deepen its platform development, driving the practical implementation of AI while rigorously safeguarding data security, thereby leveraging technology to elevate legal services and contributing Taihe’s expertise to the industry’s intelligent transformation.
