INTRODUCTION TO JCMASTER LAW OFFICES
Taihe Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as “Taihe”) was founded in 1985 and is a law firm headquartered in Nanjing, originally established as the state‑run Jiangsu Law Firm. Taihe is a well‑known law firm in China’s Yangtze River Delta region, particularly renowned in capital market practice areas such as international legal services, capital markets, corporate restructuring and IPOs, bond issuance, and mergers and acquisitions. In 2020, Taihe restructured from a “general partnership” into a “special general partnership,” a change that has been highly beneficial to its continued growth and development.
For more than four decades, Taihe has maintained long-standing, robust partnerships with numerous leading international law firms across North America, Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The firm has continuously explored and developed innovative legal service offerings and has been recognized by Asia Law & Practice and Legalease Limited as one of China’s Top 200 and the Asia-Pacific’s Top 100 law firms, respectively. Since 2018, Taihe has successively invested in and established directly operated branches in Taizhou, Suzhou, Nantong, Shenzhen, and other locations. In early 2020, as Taihe continued to grow, it welcomed additional strategic partners, signing cooperation agreements with leading national- and provincial-level law firms across all 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province.
