In 2016, Attorney Hu Aopeng was selected as one of the first cohort under the Jiangsu Provincial Lawyers Association’s program for “Australian Training in International Legal Practice,” undertaking training at the Faculty of Law of Victoria University in Australia and completing an internship at Russell Kennedy Lawyers in Melbourne. From February 2018 to March 2019, Attorney Hu served as a Chinese legal advisor at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Advocates in India, providing legal services to local Chinese enterprises in areas such as overseas investment and anti-dumping matters. Attorney Hu is highly proficient in international law, civil and commercial litigation, maritime and admiralty law, corporate law, and corporate legal advisory work. He has long acted as the standing legal counsel to Zhenjiang Dingsheng Aluminum Co., Ltd., offering commercial and international legal services to the company. Additionally, he has served for many years as legal counsel to Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd., providing domestic and international legal advice on maritime and admiralty matters as well as shipbuilding contracts. In recent years, Attorney Hu Aopeng has increasingly represented domestic supply-chain enterprises, delivering both ongoing and project‑specific legal services in support of their import‑export trade, cross‑border investments, and related activities.
