Recently, Director Xu Guojin of Taihe Law Firm officially received a letter of appointment as a drafter from the Standardization Working Committee of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, thereby being appointed to draft the group standard “Guidelines on the Security and Compliance of Generative Artificial Intelligence Products” and to play a leading role in the development of this nation’s first compliance‑oriented group standard for generative AI products.
This standard, designated CECC 2026‑2‑106, was officially approved on May 6, 2026, and is being developed under the leadership of the Zhihe Standards Center. Against the backdrop of comprehensive AI regulatory implementation, addressing pressing issues such as industry‑wide data infringement and compliance with content and ethical standards, the standard establishes an integrated five‑pillar compliance framework that spans the entire product lifecycle. It clarifies the responsibilities of all stakeholders across the value chain, sets out specific control requirements for high‑risk scenarios—including AI agents—and provides accompanying practical tools, thereby helping enterprises achieve a balanced approach to innovative development and robust compliance.
This appointment not only recognizes Director Xu Guojin’s expertise in the safety and compliance of generative AI products, but also underscores Taihe Law Firm’s commitment to actively engaging in AI governance, standards development, and industry‑wide compliance.
Looking ahead, Taihe will leverage its deep expertise in cyber law, data compliance, and intellectual property, with Director Xu Guojin playing a pivotal role throughout the entire standard‑development process—from stakeholder consultations to meticulous clause refinement—while integrating practical industry experience into the standards‑setting framework. This approach will help strengthen the compliance ecosystem for the generative AI sector and contribute Taihe’s professional expertise to the safe, high‑quality development of the artificial intelligence industry.
