I. Civil and Commercial Section
1. In a collective case involving Li v. a certain village committee over the conofficeation of the invalidity of a contract, we represented the defendant; the plaintiff subsequently withdrew the lawsuit, and we were presented with a banner of appreciation by the client.
2. In a dispute over the removal of obstructions between a certain hardware products company and Mr. Pan, the company’s actual place of business is located in a township. As the company’s legal counsel and litigation attorney, I conducted multiple on‑site mediation sessions at the law office following the filing of the lawsuit, given the significant conflict between the parties. Ultimately, we reached a mutually agreed settlement, and I personally oversaw a swift handover on site, enabling the company to vacate its premises and put them to effective use, thereby helping a local township enterprise resolve a practical challenge.
3. In the case of a motor vehicle traffic accident liability dispute between Mr. Tian and Taizhou Public Transportation Company and the Taizhou Branch of Tian’an Insurance Co., Ltd., Mr. Tian, an elderly rural resident living alone, was injured while riding a bus. Both the at-fault parties failed to address his claim for compensation. Subsequently, through the diligent efforts of counsel and close collaboration with the village committee director, we provided legal guidance and actively participated in every stage of Mr. Tian’s disability assessment and the ensuing litigation. Under the auspices of the People’s Court, a settlement agreement was ultimately reached. Following this, we promptly coordinated with the insurance company, enabling Mr. Tian to receive full compensation within a relatively short period.
4. In the administrative conofficeation dispute between Mr. Zhu and the People’s Government of a certain city, the case involved improper conofficeation of rural land contract management rights. Representing Mr. Zhu, we conducted an in-depth on-site investigation in rural areas, visited the village committee and the village Party secretary responsible for the matter, and filed an administrative lawsuit to safeguard his rights in accordance with the law. Ultimately, the case garnered the attention of the city’s People’s Government, which proactively contacted our team to seek settlement. Through multi‑party coordination addressing longstanding historical issues, a settlement agreement was reached; accordingly, we withdrew the lawsuit, thereby effectively protecting and securing Mr. Zhu’s legitimate rights and interests.
5. In the case of Zhao v. Jin and Jiang concerning a dispute over the removal of obstructions, the matter involved a conflict arising from the transfer and contracting of rural land for fish‑pond aquaculture. Two contracts were executed with respect to the land at issue, raising questions about the validity of those contracts and the protection of lawful possession. As counsel for the defendant, Zhao, I diligently ascertained the factual details, analyzed the legal relationships, and reviewed relevant case law. Ultimately, following our defenses, the plaintiff withdrew the lawsuit. Zhao expressed profound gratitude for the attorney’s efforts and the favorable legal outcome achieved.
6. In the dispute over profit distribution involving Jiang, Ding, and a certain real estate development company, the amount in controversy exceeded one hundred million yuan. As counsel for the defendant, the real estate development company, I engaged in extensive preliminary consultations with the client to thoroughly understand the case, leaving no detail overlooked, and provided support by conducting research into relevant statutes and case law. Ultimately, following the court proceedings, the plaintiff withdrew the lawsuit, bringing the matter to a close and achieving a highly satisfactory outcome for my client.
7. In a labor dispute case between a certain pharmaceutical company and Mr. Zhang, although the company’s counsel did not intervene during the arbitration phase and ultimately lost the case, the office stepped in at the first-instance level, thoroughly examined the facts, carefully analyzed the relevant legal relationships, and advanced well-founded interpretations of the applicable statutes and legislative intent. Following the court hearing, the judge ultimately accepted our arguments, ruled against the opposing party, and rendered a judgment that earned high praise from the client.
8. In the divorce dispute between Dai and Chen, the case involved the division of equity in a marital‑owned company. During the non-litigation phase, the equity dispute was resolved, and a multi‑million‑yuan loan dispute involving the parties’ parents was also settled, leaving the clients highly satisfied.
9. In the equity transfer dispute between Mr. Wu and Mr. He, following the filing of the lawsuit and communication with the opposing party, our office facilitated mediation. Prior to the court hearing, the parties reached a settlement, with full payment of the equity transfer consideration made on the same day, resulting in the withdrawal of the case and the prompt, full satisfaction of the plaintiff’s claim to the equity transfer rights.
II. Criminal Defense
1. An individual suspected of the crime of profiting from the dissemination of obscene materials was exempted from criminal punishment.
2. Tang was suspected of the crime of refusing to pay labor remuneration and was granted a suspended sentence.
3. Luo was convicted of the crime of issuing false special value-added tax invoices and was sentenced to a suspended sentence.
4. Zhang was convicted of the crime of collusive bidding and sentenced to a suspended sentence.
5. Mr. Tian was suspected of fraud; following defense counsel’s representation in the second instance, he was recognized as having made meritorious service and successfully had his sentence reduced by six months.
6. Shao was suspected of the crime of organizing prostitution, and the procuratorate recommended a sentence of ten years and six months; following defense, the sentence was ultimately reduced to five years and six months.
III. Non-Litigation Section
He has served as a long-term legal counsel to numerous state-owned enterprises and large private companies, including the Taizhou Branch of the Postal Savings Bank, Taizhou Power Generation Co., Ltd. of the China Energy Group, Taizhou Culture and Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., and Qinhuhu Culture and Tourism Group Co., Ltd., issuing legal opinions and successfully handling multiple non-litigation special projects related to the restructuring of state-owned enterprises. As legal counsel to private enterprises, he has helped them establish lawful and compliant internal rules and regulations, participated in key commercial negotiations, provided legal advice, and exercised comprehensive oversight throughout the entire course of commercial transactions to effectively manage risks.
